the day

The Walk4Literacy Sacramento is a family-friendly, four-mile walk through north Oak Park, Curtis Park, Poverty Hill, midtown, downtown, and culminates at the Cesar Chavez Park and Sacramento Public Library’s Central location.  There will be a Walk4Literacy Festival at the Park and we have made sure to invite some of Sacramento’s favorite food trucks.  Join us when we walk together with those committed to solving Sacramento’s illiteracy challenge. Walk-in registrations will be available, however we encourage you to sign up ahead of time so that we can prepare for all walkers!
